American rapper Wiz Khalifa was born Cameron Jibril Thomaz on september 8, 1987. His first album, Show and Prove, was released in 2006, which lead to Khalifa singing with Warner Bros. Records in 2007. After parting ways with Warner Bros. Records, he signed with Atlantic Records in 2010 and released the single "Black and Yellow", which was a huge success. Wiz Khalifa is known for his music, but also for his sense of fashion and multiple tattoos.
Wiz Khalifa got his first tattoo at the age of 16 on his left arm. His mother asked him if he wanted one and they went together for what was the first of many tattoos to come. Khalifa also has a Martin Luther King quote tattoo on his stomach that says "The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy" (1). Although he got it at a young age, this quote tattoo is one of the most personal for Wiz Khalifa because it describes his life and his career and what he has been through in his life. It is what he believes as a person and what he wishes to preach to his audience.
One of his other favorite tattoos is a lettering tattoo on his left hand palm and thumb that says "Self Made" (2) which pretty much describes itself. Wiz Khalifa also has a bunch of Taylor Gang tattoos (3) and his eyebrows have tattoos that say "TGOD" (4)(Taylor Gang Or Die). The Taylor Gang is his fanbase and was named after his love for Chuck Taylor All-Stars shoes (traditional Converse shoes). He also has a Ninja Turtles tattoo on his left leg (5) and a shark tattoo on his back (6). Wiz Khalifa explained to the media that he did not regret any of his tattoos. Although he does have some cover up tattoos, he says it is for new and better ideas in "prime skin real estate". He also stated that he would never get a tattoo under his eyes or on his cheeks, as well as on his forehead.
