American actress and singer Miley Ray Cyrus was born November 23, 1992 as Destiny Hope Cyrus. She is mainly known as the main character in Disney's widely successful Hanna Montana series. Miley Cyrus has since started what has become a great singing career in 2006 when she released a Hanna Montana soundtrack with her performing many songs from the show. She then went to release many successful albums away from the Hanna Montana franchise, such as Breakout (2008) and Can't Be Tamed (2010). As of 2010, Miley Cyrus has six different tattoos. The singer has the words "Just Breathe" tattooed on her left rib cage right under her breast (1), as a tribute to a friend who died of cystic fibrosis. She also has tattoos on her fingers, such as an equal sign (2), a heart(3), and a peace sign tattoo (7). Miley Cyrus has even tattooed the word "Love" in her right ear lobe (5). She also has an anchor tattoo on her right wrist (8). Finally, Miley Cyrus has a tattoo of a dreamcatcher on the right side of her torso and rib cage (6), representing her very own four-feather dreamcatcher, which hangs above her bed as a symbol of her four siblings, 2 brothers and sisters. Cyrus explained to the media that the dreamcatcher was to protect them. She also stated that all of her tattoos all had significance and deep meaning to her, representing friends, family and causes close to her.
