Megan Denise Fox is a model and American actress born May 16, 1986. Her acting career started in 2001 with small roles on television shows and in movies and she officially started her film career in 2004 in the movie Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen. However, Megan Fox got her breakout role in the 2007 movie Transformers, and became instantly famous all around the world. She is also considered as a sex symbol and frequently appears in men's magazines, showing off her many tattoos.
Megan Fox has a total of eight visible tattoos. Her first tattoo is located on her right scapula, and consists of Old English text that says: "We will all laugh at gilded butterflies" (1). This quote tattoo is taken from Act V of Scene III in Shakespeare's tragedy King Lear. Her next tattoo, which is again Old English text, shows us that Megan Fox has a passion for lettering tattoos. This tattoo on her left rib cage, arranged in a column, says: "There once was a little girl who never knew love until a boy broke her heart" (2). Megan Fox also has a tattoo of the word "Brian" between her right hip and pubic bone, for her love of her husband Brian Austin Green (5).
Megan Fox is also fond of portrait and symbol tattoos. She has a tattoo of Marilyn Monroe on her right forearm (3), but many people in the media think that she is trying to remove it, because it had drastically faded in only a few weeks. Fox also has tattoos of symbols, such as a crescent moon on a star above her right ankle (4) (her only color tattoo), a tribal Yin and Yang tattoo on her left wrist (6) and the Chinese symbol for strength on the back of her neck (7). Her final tattoo is quote of German philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche that says: "And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music" (8).
Now Megan Fox has 8 visible tattoos, but there are rumors that she has two or three tattoos that have not been seen in pictures. The first one would be on her buttocks, and the other one would be on her right breast. This last tattoo is apparently very slightly visible in a Armani underwear commercial that she starred in, although further bikini photos of her, even in the most revealing clothes, do not show such tattoo.
