After a short lived career in Australia, Keith Urban moved to the United States in 1992, working as a session guitarist and a in a band called The Ranch. He launched his solo career in 1999 with the album Keith Urban, which was a major success. As of 2012, Urban has released nine acclaimed studio albums.
