American singer and songwriter Chester Bennington was born on March 20, 1976. His rise to fame occurred when his band, Linkin Park, released their first album Hybrid Theory in 2000. The successful album launched the singer's career, selling well over 10 million albums by 2005 (Platinum certified) and enabled him and Linkin Park to release several other successful albums such as Meteora (2003), Minutes to Midnight (2007) and A Thousand Suns (2010).
